    Size Chart : https://lamont.jp/size/

    TOP

  • I am not sure if the shoe size will fit.

Although it depends on individual differences, most people choose one size (0.5cm, 1.0cm in some cases) larger than what they normally wear due to the thickness of mountaineering socks. We have a selection of 3E widths.

    TOP

  • What if I want to use only my own shoes in the rental set?

When ordering, please indicate in the remarks column that shoes are not required.

    TOP

  • I have a poncho, do I need rainwear?

Mt. Fuji is windy and rolls up so strong that a poncho or raincoat may not be useful as rain gear. We recommend separate type raincoats, which are divided into a jacket and pants.

    TOP

  • Is there a rain cover attached to the backpack?

Yes, there is a rain cover for every size of the backpack. They are stored at the bottom or on the side of the bag.

    TOP

  • What are spats?

They are also called gaiters, these items prevent pebbles and other debris from entering the ankle area and keep the hems of trekking pants from getting dirty. Please note that they are different from tights.

    TOP

  • We will be climbing while there is daylight, so headlights are not necessary.

You never know what kind of trouble you may encounter in the mountains. For your safety, we recommend that you carry a headlamp.

    TOP

  • Do I need trekking poles?

These items are of help to those who have little experience in mountaineering or those who have concerns about their legs and back. Especially when descending a mountain, the load on the knees and other parts of the body is heavy, so trekking poles can help distribute the load on the body.

    TOP

  • I don't know how to use the tools.

For delivery, a user's manual will be enclosed. Also, at La Mont Kawaguchiko store, our staff will explain the process from the beginning. Please feel free to ask.

    TOP

  • The price is reasonable for a rental, but how much would it cost to actually buy one?

Depending on the quality of the item, it would cost more than 10 times the rental price to purchase a new item equivalent to the one we are offering. We recommend that you first try the rental equipment, and if you wish to continue climbing, we recommend that you purchase the equipment that best suits your needs.

    TOP

  • I have broken a rental item.

Accidents and minor damage will be covered by the rental insurance. In case of serious damage, loss, or intentional damage, we may charge the actual cost. Mt. Fuji and most of its foothills are designated as "Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park (1936)," "World Cultural Heritage (2013)," "Special Place of Scenic Beauty (1952)," and "Historic Site (2011)." In particular, the area above the fifth station is a National Park Special Protection Area, where strict regulations are imposed to protect nature. Therefore, the followings are prohibited by law: No taking of plants and animals, no taking of lava rocks or stones, no graffiti, no setting up of tents or campfires, and no letting pets or other animals run free. Mt. Fuji Country Code, which stipulates the followings ; Taking over beautiful Mt.
